'Bob' Robert Henry and Delia (Mary Anne) Connors married on May 16, 1895 at Castlegar, County Galway, Ireland. Bob was in the Army, on retirement a Staff Sergeant in the Army Pay Corps.

Like many military families the Arnsby's moved every few years, the children were born in Ireland or England. The couple had eleven children.

In 1924, the family moved to Canada. Delia died in 1927.
